Our Vintage Hill style bows are shaped after the early bows by famous bowyers of days passed.
Extremely narrow, (28 mm, just over an inch) at the widest point to just under half an inch at the string groove. 4 layers of tempered bamboo in front of the straight layered bamboo Riser. Did we mention the vintage look? Perhaps the spalted Yew veneer finish gave it away.
A straight glue-up, so when you receive the bow, it will have no string follow nor backset.
This makes this version of our Rebel by Fairbow forgiving and Hard-hitting, and a pleasure to shoot!
The nocks are reinforced with a thin sliver of horn, and tiny, really small. not for the fainthearted. Don't stump 'm in the dirt and break 'm.
The straight grip you pressure in the hand where it should. Covered in glue polished leather and is nice to hold.
We sprayed this Rebel with a semi-gloss 2 k varnish.
Comes with a Fastflight string. Our Rebels are fit for modern string materials
