Our Vintage Hill style bows are shaped after the early bows by famous bowyers of days passed.
Extremely narrow, (28 mm, just over an inch) at the widest point to just under half an inch at the string groove. 3 Layers of tempered bamboo in front of the hardwood Zebrano wood Riser. Did we mention a vintage look? This is all wedged in between clear glass on the backing and belly showing an oak finish. The Zebrano riser shines through the belly giving a great vintage look and feel.
This Rebel has been glued in straight glue-up. Making the bow more smooth and more forgiving. The nocks are re-enforced with a thin sliver of horn, and tiny, really small. Not for the fainthearted. Don't stump 'm in the dirt and break 'm.
The grip is per se straight. no locater, no pistol, just straight and narrow, giving you pressure in the hand where it should. This grip is covered in a stitched and glued-on leather grip and very nice to hold.
We sprayed this Rebel with a matt-semigloss 2 k varnish and comes with a Fastflight string. Our Rebels are fit for modern string materials
